How to Remove an A/C Accumulator on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

To remove the A/C accumulator, disconnect the negative battery cable and recover the refrigerant. Access to the accumulator is obtained by removing the air filter housing cover. Detach clips, disconnect lines with the use of A/C Line Disconnect Tools and remove bolts holding the accumulator in place. Finally, close opened refrigerant connection and remove the accumulator if replacing.
