How to Change Brake Pads on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

You should first lift the 2500 or 3500 model and support it, before loosening and removing the wheel and tire assemblies. Press the caliper closed, lift the top of the caliper adapter and take the caliper out while checking that the brake hose is not supporting it. Mount the caliper in place and after that, lift out the inboard shoe from the adapter, followed by the outboard shoe. Because the anti-rattle springs are not interchangeable, take out the top springs from the caliper adapter and the bottom springs afterward.
