How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

Make sure to first lift the car securely and then lock out the parking brake cable 2 before starting the service. Then, revolve the cable adjuster nut clockwise a few turns and pull the rear cable off the middle cable. Secure the cable's cable end fitting to the frame mount bracket, then pull the cable all the way through the bracket using the tabs. From behind the rotor assembly, unclip the back cord from the park brake and inch in the cables, clasping the end at the plates.
