How to Service and Repair a Brake Pad on 2008 Dodge Ram 3500?

Before servicing the brake pads, hold the pistons fully at the bottom of the bore by placing an old brake shoe between the C-clamp and the piston. After removing the adapter, wash it and attach some additional anti-rattle clips to the brake pads. Then, place the inboard brake pad into the adapter and put the outboard brake pad in the same adapter. Place the caliper on top of the rotor and push it onto the adapter. Place the caliper on the slide pin bolts to ensure it stays secured. After all the tools are removed, set the wheel and tire assemblies in place and lower the vehicle. Stop several times to put pressure on the pistons and shoes of your brakes so they stay firm when pressed and then fill up the master cylinder fluid to the maximum level.
