How to Service and Repair a Front Parking Brake Cable on 2008 Dodge Ram 3500?

Before fixing or servicing the front parking brake cable, put the cable's fitting into the hole on the pedal assembly. Attach the cable retainer to the pedal assembly and get the ball end of the cable into the slot on the clevis. Now run the cable under the floorpan and install the body grommet and next lay down the carpet, putting in the left cowl trim and the sill plate. Support and raise your vehicle, insert the cable through the underbody bracket and snap the end fitting into the bracket. Attach the cable to your cable connector and work through the park brake's adjustment procedure before driving down the ramps.
