How to remove the Body Control Module on 2009 Dodge Viper?

Before removing the Body Control Module, take off the deck lid, unscrew the bolts holding the battery compartment cover and lift off the cover. Unattach the cable for the battery negative terminal, then stand by for two minutes to give the system reserve capacitor a chance to discharge; otherwise, injury may occur if you touch any air bag part with the system still charged. Following this, remove the five Body Control Module (BCM) electrical connections from the body's harness. After that, take out the four retaining nuts from the BCM and lift the BCM from the vehicle.
