How is the Alternator Installed on 2009 Jeep Compass?

Installation of the alternator requires that the A/C compressor be moved aside and the generator fitted and the mounting bolts installed loosely. Install them to a certain torque, and put B+ terminal nut and wire. Connect the field circuit, install idler pulley, accessory drive belt, splash shield and lower air dam and reconnect negative battery cable.
