How to Install a Fuel Pump on 2009 Jeep Compass?

After you clean the area where the seal will go, install a new seal on the tank threads followed by the mounting the fuel pump module. After that, install the module and place it inside the tank, aligning its tabs for each fuel together. Just before the whole assembly is locked in place, insert the lock ring from above and tighten it using Spanner Wrench #9340. Then, add the plastic cover and rear cushion and reconnect the negative battery cable afterward. After that, add the air cleaner lid, connect the sensor for the inlet air temperature and the makeup air hose and put clean fuel into the tank. Help pressure the system with the Scan Tool so you can see if there are any leaks.
