How to Install a Fuel Pump Module for Proper Fuel Gauge Functionality on 2008 Jeep Compass?

To service the fuel gauge sender and install the fuel pump module, the tank seal area should be cleaned, a new seal should be installed and the module should be in place making sure that it is properly fitted. Install lock ring with Spanner Wrench #9340, refit battery and verify no leaks with Scan Tool after tank is filled.
