How to Maintain the Oil Pressure Switch for the Fuel Pump on 2009 Jeep Compass?

Before you do any work on Oil Pressure Switch, make sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal. Support the vehicle and if the car has one, take out the front skid plate as well. Splash shield removal for the right side frame rail is the next task. If the vehicle's A/C uses a belt, unhook the belt and loosen the three bolts to push the A/C compressor out of the way. Shut off the oil pressure switch by removing its electrical connector. Then get rid of the switch using socket C-4597 or a similar tool.
