A: Lift the engine cover upward to start the removal process of the engine timing cover. After that, open the fuel pressure and remove the negative cable from the battery. Get rid of the coolant recovery bottle, shift the power steering reservoir into place and remove the windshield washer bottle. Remove the accessory drive belt and the hold down from the power steering hose next. Delete the three fasteners that secure the pump to the steering rack and then move the pump out of the steering rack. Tilt the cylinder head cover back and take out the ignition coils. Lift and secure the vehicle and afterward, disconnect the right lower splash shield. Make sure the engine is precisely on top dead center and if your motorcycle has one, remove the lower A/C compressor bolts and mount it. Take out the accessory drive belt's lower pulley and the crankshaft damper. Take off the three bolts from the water pump and also the pulley and remove the last bolt from the bracket on the right side engine mount. Unglue the lower timing cover bolts, lower the car and prop up the engine with a proper jack. Remove the right engine mount bolt, loose the right engine mount mount bracket bolts and take off the right engine mount adapter. Lift off the accessory drive upper idler pulley, right upper engine mount bracket and the adjustment bracket for the accessory drive belt tensioner. Take out the timing chain cover bolts and use a pry bar to lift the cover upward from the top, removing it by way of the vehicle's bottom.
