First, turn the steering wheel to get the tires into a straight-ahead position before handling the speed control switch. Remove the negative battery cable and turn off the ignition so that the front air bag system capacitor can safely empty for two minutes. Take out the air bag and separate the connector from the Clock Spring. After that, pull off the three mounting fasteners and the horn switch. Remove two screws from the switch (or three if you have the more advanced model) and then unplug the electrical connector to free the switch.
