2009 Jeep Wrangler Brake Line Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace the Front Brake Line on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
A: First, place the new hose (3) and then attach the mounting bolt (2) to secure it on the frame. Then, connect the brake line to the brake hose and link up the wheel speed sensor wire once more to the brake hose. Mount the brake hose banjo bolt (5) on the caliper (6) then tighten it until it reaches 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.). Remove the support after everything is completed, then lift all four corners and pull out the prop rod. If a proper feel at the brake pedal doesn't show up during bleeding, you should proceed to the base bleed system.
