How to Detach the Hood Cable on 2010 Dodge Avenger?

You must start by taking off the hood latch to remove the hood cable. Then, take out the left front cowl trim panel from its area. After that, loosen the screws that hold the hood handle to the inner cowl panel. Remove the clips connecting the hood cable to the inside of the left frame rail. After that, take out the grommet at the bottom of the dash panel. After that, take out the fastener that holds the hood cable to the dash and then remove that cable from your vehicle.
