To remove the trunk or liftgate hinge, open and support the deck lid. Remove the support cylinder and draw the position of the upper hinge bracket. Remove the fasteners holding the hinge to the deck lid and mark the lower hinge bracket position. Finally, cut the hinge off from the vehicle.
