How to Service and Repair the EGR Valve for 3.3 and 3.8L Engines on 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Since the EGR valve and tube on these engines work at high temperature, it is important to cool the engine before taking it apart or making repairs. Remove the negative battery cable to reset the engine controller and clear out any learned information that may cause wrong errors after repairs; do it for at least two minutes. After that, unplug the electrical connector from the EGR valve and take out the bolts, gasket and EGR tube. Remove the bolts, gasket and EGR valve from the cylinder head as your last step.
