2010 Dodge Grand Caravan Wiper Arm Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Correctly Install Wiper Arms on 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan?
A: Before installing the wiper arms, park the wiper motor by turning the ignition on and then turn off the multi-function switch control knob. When the wiper pivots don't move anymore, switch the ignition switch back to the OFF position. Whenever the motor is in park, the indexing of the front wiper arms to the pivot shafts is necessary. attach the wiper arm pivot end to the wiper pivot shaft so the bottom edge of the wiper blade is right above the horizontal T marks toward the upper corner of the lower windshield blackout zone. Pull upward on the wiper arm a little to release the tension in the springs and then press the end of the wiper pivot handle down uniformly onto the pivot shaft. Secure the wiper arm's nut to the pivot shaft by turning it at 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.). Wet the glass and use the wipers and then turn the wiper switch to OFF so you can readjust the wipers as necessary. After you are done, put the plastic nut cap back onto the pivot nut.
