How to Safely Remove an Exhaust Pipe on 2010 Jeep Liberty?

In order to dismantle the exhaust pipe, it should be cold to prevent burns. Torches around fuel lines should be used with care. Lift the car, use rust penetrant, disconnect oxygen sensors and loosen the nuts. Move the exhaust pipe backwards until it snaps out of the transmission support and then pull it out.
