How to Install the ABS Control Module on Chrysler 300?

Prior to installation, remove any dirt from the surfaces of the HCU and ABM that will mate. All seals on the valve stems should be changed if they are not new, since this prevents the valve from taking in moisture and dirt. If the O-ring on the pump/motor connector is old, need to replace it and put it in the mounting groove properly. Place all the parts together and put the ABM onto the HCU, gently securing it by hand and driving in the fastener screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Bring the ICU up and over the row of grommets on the body side rail; then press the mounting bracket against the rail until tight. Route the rear brake tube to the clip under the Fuse And Relay Center and secure the right front brake tube to the same clip on there. Secure the brake tubes into the two routing clips strapped along the upper radiator support. Before fitting the ABM harness connector to the ABM, first put the seal in the connector. Connect the ABM harness to the socket in the ABM, lock the cover and you are ready to go. Then attach the battery negative end to the battery post, checking your connection is correct and do the ABS Verification Test to clear any faults.
