Before installing the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor for a 2.7L engine, put thread sealant on the threads of the sensor. After that, set the engine coolant temperature sensor (1) onto the outlet tube (3) and tighten it by 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). In the end, link the electrical connector (2) to the engine coolant temperature sensor (1).
