  The first step for installing the engine oil cooler is to orient the oil cooler such that the cut-out section of its seal retainer fits exactly with the pointer and doesn't turn while you tighten its parts. Then, fix the oil cooler with its attaching fastener and turn the fastener until the torque reaches 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Once these steps are done, set in the Oil Filter and join the coolant hoses to the oil cooler. When everything is done on the engine, lift the car up and fill your cooling system. Turn on the engine and look for any dripping liquids and before leaving, check if the engine oil warrants a refill.

  Before changing the Oil Filter, drain the cooling system and lift the vehicle with a hoist. Take the two hoses off the oil cooler and remove the oil filter. After that, take out the middle fastener from the oil cooler and remove the oil cooler. The oil cooler seal retainer flange tab should be made to match the Oil Pan's cut-out and the oil cooler turned neither to the left nor right while tightening. Hook up the oil cooler and clamp it in place; tighten the fixing screw to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Fit the new oil filter, join the coolant hoses to the oil cooler, lift the car and add coolant. Run the engine briefly to check for any oil leaks and also to see if the oil level needs increasing.
