- Q: How to Remove a Rear Door Window Regulator on Chrysler 300?A:Removing the door window regulator begins by removing the inside trim panel from the rear door. After that, remove the watershield from inside the door. Following this, pull out the door glass channel and bracket. Unscrew the screw underneath the pull cup bracket at the bottom of the door inside the car and at the top loosen the screw securing the other end. Take the upper pull cup bracket screw out of the keyed hole and remove the bracket. Loosen the screws in the rear door glass clamps by using the regulator, so you can slide off the glass afterwards. Take the glass out of the regulator clamps, then tape it in place all the way up. Get rid of the screws that keep the rear regulator rail top and the regulator motor support bracket in place inside the door. Remove the screw that's holding the bottom of the regulator rail to the keyed hole inside the door and then lift the rear regulator rail to take it out. Access the connector between the door wire harness and regulator motor by lifting the large hole in the panel near the front then lowering the regulator in the door. Remove the regulator by unscrewing it through the big opening you find on the inside of the door.

Finally, mount the regulator rail upside down onto the keyed hole on the inside of the door with another 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.) of torque. Lift the security tape from off the door glass and lower it until it engages into the two glass clamps. After that, lower the door glass as far as necessary to access the two regulator glass clamp screws and snug each one to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). Insert the upper screw into the pull cup bracket and fit it in the central key above the handle, then correctly attach and secure the bottom of the bracket to the U-nut on the inside of the rear door using 11 Nm (100 in. lbs.) torque and complete by correctly attaching the top half of the bracket to the inside of the tailgate with 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). Lastly, put the glass channel and bracket, watershield, inner belt Weather Strip and trim panel into place on the inside of the rear door.
