Chrysler 300M Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q:
How to Replace the Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir on Chrysler 300M?
    A:
Before you replace the windshield washer reservoir, disconnect the negative Battery Cable from the remote battery post by opening the hood. Put the vehicle on a hoist and then disconnect and remove the left front fascia piece propped by a 2x4 at its far left end. Remove the wires from the reservoir pump and float sensor, remove the washer hose and stop any liquid from leaving through the outlet by covering it up. Go behind the washer and pull the filler tube off the back of the reservoir. Loose the four bolts that connect the washer reservoir to the vehicle and remove the reservoir from your car. Remove the level sensor, pump and washer fluid from the old reservoir and put them in the new one. Join the washer hose, filler tube and all the wire connectors to the reservoir, then connect the reservoir retaining bolts and tighten them to 80 to 124 in. lbs. Reattach the negative battery cable.
