  The back washer nozzle is meant to be used only once, so it must be replaced with a new unit if it is removed from the engine. Put the new washer nozzle in the hole on the outside of the car's liftgate and confirm that the rubber gasket is lined up correctly at its base. After that, connect the washer hose to the barbed nipple at the back of the nozzle. After that, insert the hose and nozzle nipple into the hole in the outer panel for the liftgate and connect the tab on the top of the nipple to the upper edge of the hole. Push your finger hard and evenly on the lower end of the nozzle to snap it in position.

Pull back the rear washer nozzle in the lift gate as far as you can to reach the washer hose. After taking off the hose from the barbed nipple, slice 4 to 6 millimeters (0.15 to 0.23 inch) from the end of the hose so it fits well on the new washer nozzle. Throw away the nozzle.
