To remove the floor console, first take off the gear
Shift Knob and then remove the transmission range indicator bezel from the floor console. Disconnect the electrical connector of the transmission range indicator bezel from the wire harness, followed by removing the screws that attach the forward end of the console to the shifter bracket and the screws that secure the rearward end of the console to the clips in the floor bracket. Ensure the parking brake is fully engaged before pulling the floor console up off the floor bracket and removing it from the vehicle. For installation, again ensure the parking brake is fully engaged, then engage the forward tabs on the console into the forward instrument panel console. Locate the 4-way locator on the forward portion of the console to the shifter bracket and the 2-way locator on the rearward portion of the console base into the floor bracket hole. Align the rearward portion of the console to the clips in the floor bracket, install the screws next to the floor shifter and into the console to the shifter bracket, and reconnect the electrical connector between the transmission range indicator bezel and the wire harness. Finally, install the transmission range indicator bezel into the console and reattach the gear shift knob.
