Before starting any repairs, take out the cruise control servo's negative battery cable. Take the hose off the servo and remove the two nuts that hold the speed control and bracket to the servo. Unmount the servo from the bracket and remove the connectors and the vacuum hose as well. Pull the cable from the throttle cam and remove the clip from the servo. First, insert the servo cable into the large opening in the bracket, join it to the servo and use the clip to keep it stable. After that, attach the speed control cable to the throttle cam and link the electrical connector. Insert the servo studs into the holes in the speed control mounting bracket and cable, fit the nuts and tighten to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Afterward, attach the hose to the servo and reconnect the negative battery cable.
