Chrysler Cirrus Cruise Control Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How Should the Cruise Control Switch Be Managed During Service and Repair on Chrysler Cirrus?
    A:
You should be careful with the speed control switches in the Steering Wheel; they are wired through the clock spring located below the Air Bag. You should start by removing the negative cable and turning off the ignition. First remove the screws from the sides of the switches and then gently pull each switch out of the air bag and steering wheel to get to the two-way connector which needs to be disconnected. Do the same for the other switch as well. For set up, put the electrical connector back in place, arrange the switches and attach them with the two screws on each end. Afterward, insert the air bag and link the negative battery cable.
