Detach the locks, retainers, seals and springs held by each valve. Clean and inspect the valves the way it is documented in the procedure. For installation, apply engine oil onto the valve stems before pushing them into the cylinder head. Replace the nut seals on each valve with a valve stem tool, pressing them hard and correctly on the valve guide. Using oversize valves means you also need oversize valve seals to stop guide wear from becoming excessive. Insert the valve springs and retainers, making sure they are just barely compressed when installing the locks so that the direction of compression won't damage the valve stems. After you remove the valve spring compressor, look to ensure that all locks are set as they should be. Once finishing the valve and seat refacing, check that the valve spring sits correctly by measuring the distance from the spring seat to the base of the retainer. Deburr the valve spring if it's higher than 38.75 mm (1.525 inch) and attach a 0.762 mm (0.030 inch) spacer under the spring seat to fix the height.
