A condenser repair can be done between the radiator and front bumper without the need to remove the radiator or empty the cooling system. You should begin by disconnecting the remote (-) terminal from the vehicle battery post. Then, with the help of a refrigerant recovery machine, take out the refrigerant from the A/C system. Removing the five push pin fasteners on the front fascia near the center of the bumper and two on the wheel well will release the front edge of the bumper. Open the right headlamp housing, tak out the two push pin fasteners on the air flow deflectors and take away the upper radiator core support. After that, take out the upper hose to the auxiliary transmission cooler, the upper A/C discharge line fastener at the condenser and the lower A/C liquid line fastener there, since on the 300M, the lower fastener can be accessed better by removing the passenger side fog lamp. Unplug and cut out both auxiliary transmission cooler lines and the kick strips they are attached to. After that, pull out the two bolts securing the condenser to the radiator and take the condenser apart from the radiator. Install the auxiliary transmission cooler onto the new condenser and use the new zip ties provided. Be sure not to bend or damage the inlet tube of the condenser as you lift the radiator/condenser assembly from the car. Just cancel the actions you used for uninstallation when installing the app.
