How to Replace an A/C Hose in an HVAC System for Liquid Hose on Chrysler Concorde?

Remove refrigerant from your A/C using a refrigerant recovery machine before changing the A/C liquid hose/line. Then, use an M13 Hex wrench to unfasten the A/C line join to the expansion valve, pull off the suction line block, put a cap on it and swing it away to the side. Cover or block-off all of the pipes that won't be removed, including the expansion and condenser fittings. Take out the fastener for the liquid line from the filter-drier and then release the fastener on the filter/drier bracket, pulling the bracket free from the strut panel by pushing out the two hidden plastic hooks. After that, use an M13 Hex wrench to take off the fastener holding the liquid line at the condenser, provided that the radiator upper crossmember is remove first. Unfasten the liquid line mounting clamp near the service port, disconnect the fastener from the filter-drier and take out the liquid line, capping off all the fittings if reusing it so wet air won't get in. When installing, use the same set of instructions, making certain to use 20.3 N.m (15 ft. lbs.) torque for the liquid line fasteners on the TXV and condenser, 13.6 N.m (10 ft. lbs.) on the filter-drier line and 6.8 N.m (5 ft. lbs.) on the plastic bracket and screws.
