Chrysler Concorde Blower Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Blower Motor on Chrysler Concorde?
    A:
Begin by loosening the negative terminal of the battery from your car's air bag system, disconnecting it, waiting two minutes and then isolating the battery to deactivate the air bag. Take the negative battery terminal cable out of the battery's remote terminal while the hood is open. Start by removing the lower right under panel duct and after that, divide the blower motor connector from the Blower Motor Resistor block/power module. Squeeze the grommet around the blower motor wiring, force it through the cover and then remove the cover and any blower motor retaining screws. Remove the blower motor from inside the housing. When placing the motor in the HVAC housing, fasten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.). Place the blower motor housing cover in its spot, set the blower motor wiring grommet in the cover and join the blower motor harness connector with the blower motor resistor block/power module. In the end, put back the lower right under panel duct and link the negative Battery Cable remote terminal with the remote battery post.
