  The first thing to do to change the EGR tube is to disconnect the negative battery, after which you remove the air inlet tube and resonator and later the throttle cable bracket which needs to be set back correctly. After that, remove the screws holding the EGR tube in place at both the manifold and the valve and take out the EGR upper tube, being careful not to lose the silicone rubber seals into the manifold. Keep the gasket areas on the EGR Valve clean, because loose dirt might create valve leaks and cause a rough running idle and a decrease in manifold vacuum. Check the rubber silicone seals at the end of the EGR tube where the intake connects before mounting the upper tube. Put in a gasket and tighten the bolts between the EGR valve and the tube. Apply 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.) torque on the upper EGR tube to the intake manifold plenum screws and the upper EGR valve bolts. Put the throttle cable bracket in place, then attach the air inlet tube and resonator and finally connect the negative Battery Cable after all.

  Both sides of the Throttle Body and the EGI valve are connected to the EGR tube which also goes into the intake manifold plenum. Before you take out the upper tube, you need to remove the negative Battery Cable, then remove the air inlet tube and resonator next, finishing with the repositioning of the throttle cable bracket. Then, remove the screws that attach the EGR tube to the manifold plenum and the EGR Valve and gently take out the EGR upper tube, so the silicone rubber seals do not enter the intake manifold. Be sure to clean the gaskets on the EGR valve, as dirt on them could result in leaking and both an uneven idle and declining manifold vacuum. Check the silicone seals on the EGR tube's manifold end, then safely insert the upper tube into position. Connect a new gasket between the EGR valve and the EGR tube, using bolts and tighten the EGR tube to the manifold with 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.). Fix back the throttle cable bracket, air inlet tube and resonator and link up the negative battery cable as well. To remove the lower tube, detach the negative battery cable, disconnect the air inlet tube, take off the resonator, bracket and remove the screws from the EGR mount at its valve and the Exhaust Manifold. While installing, add a gasket between the EGR valve and tube, hold it in place, then put gaskets between the exhaust manifold and tube. Twist the bolts holding the EGR tube to the EGR valve to 11 Nm and twist the EGR tube to exhaust manifold bolts to 31 Nm torque. After that, replace the air inlet tube, resonator and bracket, plus connect the negative battery cable.
