How to Effectively Service and Repair a Starter Motor on Chrysler Concorde?

Before repairing or servicing the starter motor, you should disconnect and isolate the battery negative remove cable from the remote ground post. Lift the car and pull out the battery positive feed wire from the starter. After that, set aside the starter solenoid assembly from the transmission housing for access to the Connector Positive Assurance wiring connector on the starter. A jack stand should be put beneath the engine and slowly lift it so the pressure is off the left mount, then remove the three bolts from the engine block. Raise the engine slightly so the starter assembly will be easier to remove and slip the rear of the unit out from between the catalyst and engine mount. Take the connector off the posi-lock starter solenoid and take the starter out of the vehicle. To install, do the opposite of what you learned before, cleaning any buildup on the terminals before connecting them to the solenoid. After placing the starter into position, reconnect the posi-lock connector as soon as possible.
