First, open the hood and remove the negative battery cable from the remote battery post to swap out your windshield washer reservoir. Remove only the left headlamp assembly and place it aside. After that, remove the four bolts holding the washer reservoir in place, disconnect the pump and sensor wires and take off the washer and filler hoses. Swing forward the inside of the reservoir and remove it from the car. When you are installing a new reservoir, transfer the pump and sensor to it and remember to use a new grommet so nothing leaks. Installing the reservoir is easiest when you secure it in the motor enclosure and point the inside rear toward the back.
