To perform service or repair of the front bumper cover, raise and support the vehicle, remove the lower splash shield retaining screws, then, remove the lower splash shield. After that, remove the retaining nuts and screws from the left and right front fascia access panels, then remove the access panels from the vehicle. Remove the fog lamp wire harness connectors, the ambient air temperature sensor wire harness connector, and the front marker lamp wire harness connectors accessible through the inner fender well. Next, take out the lower fascia retaining nuts, then the left and right front fender to fascia retaining nuts and bolts, and lower the vehicle. Continue removing the bolts that hold the front grille assembly and the upper fascia. After that, remove the fascia from the vehicle. Installation involves placing the fascia on a vehicle and installing its upper fascia retaining bolts before placing the front grille assembly and installing the assembly's retaining bolts. Elevate the vehicle and provide support once more, install the retaining nuts and bolts for the left and right front fender to fascia and lower fascia retaining nuts. The wire harness connector for the ambient air temperature sensor, the wire harness connector for the front marker lamp, and the wire harness connectors for the fog lamp should be reconnected. The retaining nuts and screws for the left and right front fascia access panels are to be installed next, along with the lower splash shield and its retaining screws.
