This 3.2L engine does not allow you to replace the IMT Sensor apart from the MAF Sensor in the OBD-II system. Before removing the IMT Sensor, unplug the negative cable from the battery and pull up on both corners of the engine cover. After that, take out the upper air cleaner housing, cut apart the IMT Sensor harness connector and remove the IMT Sensor. When installing, fit the IMT Sensor first and attach the harness connector afterwards. Set the upper air cleaner housing and the engine cover into place, ensuring the retaining clips go over the rubber mounts and then push and hold it until it clicks into place. Before reconnecting the negative battery cable, apply a little lubricant to the rubber mounts which will make it easier for the engine cover to fit.
