  Before repairing or servicing the power seat motor, release the central locking lever and unscrew the front seat. Never forget to detach the connector for the motor that needs repair. Following that, pull the rear riser motor harness connector apart (7). Then, start by removing the rear attachment bolt and follow that by getting rid of the front attachment bolt to take out the rear riser motor.

  Before fitting the power seat motor, double-check that the rubber mount of the attachment bolt is in place. First, set the shaft 2 into the seat back frame 1 and attach it with the snap ring. Guide and fasten the harness exactly as it was originally, so it doesn't touch or get in the way of the car's moving features. After that, fix the recliner motor to the seat back frame and connect it with bolt 1. Tighten the attachment to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.). Plug connector 2 from the recliner motor harness into connector 1 on the driver's side. After that, attach the seat back cover by threading it over the support posts. Now, attach the negative battery cable again.
