Where is the Crankshaft Position Sensor located, and How to remove and install it on Chrysler LHS?

The crankshaft position sensor is mounted on the passenger side of the transmission housing, above the differential housing, with its bottom located above the drive plate. The mounting screw will need to be undone and the sensor removed after the electrical connector has already been disconnected. Place the sensor back to its original position so the sensor can contact the transmission case and while holding the sensor in position, install and tighten the retaining bolt to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) torque. Reconnect the electrical connector to finish up at the location.
