Mount the thermostat and housing on the cylinder block and attach them with bolt fasteners holding 12 Nm (105 inch lbs.). Fit the connecting hoses back on the heater and radiator, secure them all with the hose clamps and reinstall the electrical connections to the engine oil and power steering pressure switches. Raise the vehicle again, attach the remote jumper to the negative cable, fill the cooling system and then attach the negative cable where it belongs.

Cover the thermostat and its connector with a new gasket and make certain the thermostat is in its proper recess. Put the thermostat and hose assembly onto the Intake Manifold and tighten it with 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.). Attach the top hose of the radiator to the coolant outlet mode and make sure the cooling system is filled to the proper mark.
