    How to service and repair a Transmission Oil Cooler on Chrysler Prowler?

    To begin with, it is necessary to hoist the vehicle and place the oil drain pan underneath the oil cooler to service and repair it. Take out the clip in the transmission oil cooler line support. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the cooler. The fasteners securing the cooler to the support bracket should be removed next. To install, connect the oil cooler to the support bracket and tighten fasteners to 6.2 Nm (55 in. lbs.)size. Before fitting the oil cooler lines, look over the O-rings and replace them if necessary. Attach the lines of the transmission cooler to the cooler and tighten the fittings to 25 Nm (220 in. lbs.). Replace the support clip for the transmission oil cooler line, lower the vehicle and check and adjust the transmission fluid level.
