Open the hood and disconnect the battery's negative cable to start servicing the windshield washer reservoir. Take off both
Wiper Arms and the cowl trim cover too. Once that is done, take out the nut holding the MTV and purge solenoid assembly bracket so you can reach the reservoir retaining screw. With the reservoir removal screws out, move the reservoir up and remove it. Remove the wire connector from the reservoir pump and float sensor and then stop the hose and seal the liquid outlet so it cannot leak. Take out the reservoir. At installation, attach the hose to the pump and connect the wires. Set the reservoir and fit the retaining screws which should be tightened to 4.5 Nm (40 in. lbs.) torque. After that, reposition the cowl trim cover and place both wiper arms back in their slots and then connect the battery negative cable.
