Before you take out the Navigation Antenna Mast, remove and isolate the negative side of the battery cable. After that, lift the cover off the instrument panel and remove the radio (4). Then, remove the mounting fasteners for the antenna first (1) and get rid of the cable connected to the antenna (3) from the wire harness.

Remove the screws that hold the antenna in place and take the whole unit out from under the fender. For installation, fit the antenna adapter tongue into the groove of the fender hole and force it into the fender. With the antenna base and cable under the car, pass them through the opening in the adapter, secure the base to 7 Nm (75 in. lbs.) and connect the rest of the parts together. Set the grommet in the side panel and attach the cable to the harness connector on the vehicle's instrument panel. Fit the inside fender shield back in place, plug the antenna cable into the instrument panel wire and set the right cowl side trim panel. When done, put the negative battery cable back and ensure everything is working as it should.
