Open the hood and remove the negative
Battery Cable before getting rid of the windshield washer reservoir. To do this, lift up the
Wiper Arm nut cap with a trim stick (#C-4755) or an equivalent tool and then unscrew and take the wiper arm retaining nut off. While positioned outside the center, wiggle the arm around in its pivot until it removes. After that, remove the right cowl cover which is above the left cover, by removing the rear seal at the cowl and the four push retainers attached to it. After the first step, take out all three reservoir retaining screws, separate the pump cable and remove the connections from the washer hose. Remove the reservoir from inside the cowl and let it drain into a bucket below. Move the washer pump into the new reservoir, as it will be supplied with a grommet for the pump. After that, take out the plastic strap around the pump and gently pull the pump out of the reservoir by the grommet.
