If the Power Distribution Center (PDC) which is connected to the headlamp/dash wire harness, suffers an internal fault in any of the circuit or the housing, the entire unit should be changed. First, you should separate the battery's negative cable from the rest of the system, then take out the Air Inlet System, along with its housing and resonator. Remove each wire harness connector and take out the bolts holding the harness ground eyelets to the car body and chassis parts. Untwist the retainers that fasten the engine compartment wire harness to the body and frame of the vehicle and loosen and take off the nut holding the PDC in place on the bracket. Lift out the PDC and wire harness which are connected in the engine section, as a single assembly. Set up the PDC in the engine space, match the holes with the mounting bracket's blades and screw in the mounting nut. Starting at the PDC, lead the wire harness through the engine compartment and snap the retainer onto every mounting point in the body and chassis. Fix each wire harness engine compartment ground eyelet to the body and chassis using the supplied fasteners, link up the connectors and finally join the battery negative cable to the battery ground.
