Open the hood first and take the negative battery cable remote terminal off the remote battery post to begin working on the driver seat switch. After you remove the battery's negative cable, make sure to wait at least two minutes for the capacitor to empty so that any side
Air Bag deploys automatically during the engine check. After that, take out the side shield from the front seat cushion. Pry each knob off the seat switch carefully if you have a hardtop car. Release the screws on the switch and pull the switch out through the cushion side shield. To install, first set the switch into place, screw it to the seat, reinstall the knobs if required, join the electrical connector between the wiring and the switch and finally fix the seat cushion side shield. Make sure to hook the other negative battery cable back to its appointed post on the far distant battery since this step should be last.
