To service the A/C Heater Control in the front, unplug the battery negative cable and cut power for two minutes to ensure the air bag's safety. Take out the center bezel and lay it face down on an appropriate work area to prevent damage to its appearance. For those vehicles with ATC, detach the infrared sensor jumper harness connector from the heater-A/C control. Then, remove the six screws keeping the heater-A/C control to the back of the center bezel and take out the control. Connection should be done by setting the heater-A/C control on the back of the instrument panel center bezel, adding the six screws and tightening them to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). If ATC is on the helicopter, attach jumper harness to the infrared sensor. Following this, slide the center bezel back into place in the instrument panel and connect the battery's negative wire again.
