Make sure you attach the Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label to the component if replacing a crossmember. Install the
Hood Latch cable onto the crossmember at the beginning. The radiator crossmember (2) should be placed on the car so that the paint breaks above the bolt heads are matched up. Use bolts (1) to connect the crossmember to the body, then tighten them to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.) of torque. Attachment the hood latch cable (2) to the hood latch (1). Align the hood latch with the holes and paint breaks around the bolts, then fasten the bolts to 13.5 Nm (10 ft. lbs.) torque. After that, attach the two crossmember brace bolts (2) and tighten them to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.) torque. After that, put in the grille push pins (2) and fastener bolts (3) and make sure the hood latch is working and the hood is level.
