Disconnect the negative battery cable on both sides by using the can opener provided. For the passenger side, take off the rear header trim, liftgate scuff plate and upper seat belt bolt and then pull away a little of the quarter panel to expose the D-pillar speaker. Lock the speaker from the outside of the case and then remove the wire harness connector. On the driver side, open the jack cover and liftgate scuff plate, slightly take out the quarter trim panel, move the D-pillar speaker from its place and unplug the wire harness connector. To put the speaker on the passenger side, plug the wire harness in, slide the speaker into place, secure it with the retainer and reattach the quarter panel trim, upper seat belt bolt, liftgate scuff plate and rear header trim after seating the battery's negative terminal. Slide the wire harness from the driver side onto the speaker at the control panel, install it in the retainer, place the quarter panel trim, liftgate scuff plate and jack cover back on and attach the battery cable to the negative terminal again.
