Chrysler Voyager Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is one of the most important parts that significantly influence the vehicle's endeavours and stability. Also, described for its high accuracy, the TPS checks the angle of the throttle and shares the data with the computer that controls the engine, to achieve the optimal flow of air and fuel for combustion. The feedback loop takes place several times a second and allows for precise and smooth acceleration and deceleration necessary for high-speed operation and stability. Chrysler has developed TPS technology step by step through introduction of the new potentiometric sensors and using new non-contact sensors based on Hall effect, inductive, or magnetoresistive effects. This transition has enhance the dependability and capability of Chrysler Voyager hence become a standout among other automobiles. The Throttle Position Sensor is coupled with other related accelerator pedal sensors such as the wide open throttle (WOT) sensors to increase the efficiency of the engine more so where; the car uses an electronic throttle control. Ideal for a number of Voyager models, Chrysler Voyager Throttle Position Sensor is bred as an effective response to the modern driving tendencies, with obligatory references to safety and effectiveness. That it can be configured for different engine type like the 3.6L Pentastar V6 gasoline engine makes it versatile. Being the car with the reputation of more than 12 million units sold, the Chrysler Voyager remains one of the most popular family cars equipped with the options that correspond to the users' need and increased performance and durability.

Chrysler Voyager Throttle Position Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service a Throttle Position Sensor on Chrysler Voyager?
    A:
You should begin the Throttle Position Sensor service by disconnecting the negative battery cable and removing the Inlet Air Temperature sensor's connector. Unscrew the air cleaner box top, pull out the hose from the Throttle Body and put the air cleaner box lid aside. Separate the power cords from the TPS and IAC, then get rid of the cables that go to the throttle body from the surge control unit. Get rid of the three bolts securing the throttle body and remove the throttle body as well. Remove the throttle from the purge system and disconnect the TPS. The initial procedure for installation is to place the TPS on the throttle body first and then put the purge line back in its spot. Replace the throttle body and attach it to the engine with the three necessary bolts. Attach the throttle and speed control cables to the throttle body, connect the TPS electrical connector and next attach the connector at the IAC too. Place the air cleaner box lid on last, connect the hose to the throttle body, connect the electrical connector to the Inlet Air Temperature sensor and hook the negative battery cable back up.
