How to Maintain a Back Up Light Switch on Dodge Grand Caravan?

To do the switch service, lift the vehicle on a hoist and remove the back up lamp switch connector. Then, pull out the back up lamp switch. When installing, fit the back up lamp switch with Tool 8827 and torque to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.), then attach the back up lamp switch connector and lower the car.

How to Maintain a Back Up Light Switch on Dodge Neon?

Before you service the back up lamp switch, first lift the vehicle on a hoist. On the bottom, take out the back up lamp switch wiring and unscrew the switch from the transaxle. Before installing the back up lamp switch, cover all its threads with Teflon tape or a similar product and only tighten it to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.), making sure not to squeeze it too much. After linking the back up lamp switch, lift the vehicle and check that the back up lamp works.
